Interview with Network Member Peter Danish

"I'm an award-winning author and playwright. In addition, I am the Classical Music Editor in Chief for BrodawayWorldClassical.com. My works include the award-winning novel "The Tenor," the Amazon #1 Best Selling "I'll Give You Exactly Five Minutes," as well as the award-winning play, "Final Days of Wolfe Tone," and the upcoming musical "La Paloma." The Blind Date is my first film.

The screening was wonderful. The house was packed and the audience was totally engaged. It was also nice to see other filmmakers sticking around to watch everyone's films! At a lot of screenings, after their film has been shown, filmmakers pick up and leave. It was nice that everyone stayed and asked such insightful questions in the Q&A.

The Network was a natural choice for me. As a first time filmmaker, I needed all the wise counsel I could get. The Network was and is a tremendous resource!

I'd like to get the Blind Date out to as many young voters across the country as possible in advance of the 2020 elections. I'm working with the League of Women Voters, Michelle Obama's "When We All Vote", and Planned Parenthood to get the word out."
