Synopsis: Participants of „Encounter with Death“ course arrive to Porer lighthouse. They expected self-knowledge, instead there comes a shock. A strong storm cuts the participants off from the world, and in the morning they find one of them stabbed to death. Due to the storm, the land is out of reach and the isolation which was supposed to be a part of the therapy, turns into a trap. Death is much closer than they ever dared to imagine.

Synopsis: “Yellow Memory” - a title borrowed from one of his paintings - tells the story of Trân Trong Vû, a naturalized French painter born in 1964 in Hanoi, Vietnam, through the eyes, surprises, and remarks of Dan, his eldest son, a young Frenchman born in Paris in 1999. Beyond the portrait of an artist in exile and the meeting of a son with his father, the film delivers a universal message: painting and more generally art, cure poverty and heal from war.
