MANCHESTER LIFT-OFF FILM FESTIVAL
We bring authentic independent films from emerging global artists in the traditional Lift-Off fashion, fostering connections between the UK and international markets. Our goal is to amplify artists' engagement with audiences and establish an experimental platform that cultivates voices and jumpstarts careers in the indie creative space.
With a mixture of fresh talent and festival veterans covering all genres there really is something for everyone! Screening exclusively with our partners Vimeo OnDemand.
The second round of the festival takes place on the Lift-Off Network Hub, where Jury and Network Members score the finalists before allocating Season Award nominations to the festival winners.
Projects nominated for a prestigious Lift-Off Season Award will screen at Lift-Off HQ in Pinewood Studios as a part of the Season Awards #15!

FEATURES offers a diverse array of genres, styles, and distinct flavours, presenting a veritable feast for the senses. From experimental and art-house works to other captivating genres, there's something to entice every palate.
CONNECTION BETWEEN AUDIENCE AND CREATIVE IS KEY, after all, a film is not realised until it is connected with its audience. This is the last and first vital step in a creative's journey.
As with all Lift-Off screenings, the audience plays a vital role; festival participants will be asked to vote for their favourite projects.
