Synopsis:n this psychological love drama, we follow the main character, 'MAN', who questions his existence from the start of the film. He has a pessimistic view of life and emphasises to himself the insignificance of his existence. The only thing that truly allows him to see any light in life is the film's other main character, 'WOMAN'.

Throughout the story, we follow the couple's relationship through idyllic flashback sequences. This sets a huge contrast to the emotionally cold and highly isolated reality our main character lives in, all the while his mind struggles hard to realize the truth about his loneliness. He lives in the memories of a relationship that no longer exists. She is present in his reality, all while it slowly dawns on the audience that his reality cannot be trusted.

He finds himself as a depleted reflection of his past self, residing in his worn out apartment with a question that he alone must confront: Is it preferable to persist in an illusion that offers fleeting contentment, or to confront the shadowy depths of self-discovery inherent in letting go and embracing the stark reality, which may carry a more enduring and wholesome, healthy and longlasting sense of fulfillment?
