Synopsis // Waiting for Kalki follows a day in the life of Vishnu, a daily-wage leather tannery worker, stuck in the monotonous loop of poverty.

Vishnu waits for the arrival of a mysterious guest, a presence believed to have the power to transform human lives.

A contemplative short film that unfolds through minimal narrative and atmosphere, observing a moment of inner stillness and an encounter with belief, silence, and self-awareness.

Conceived as the first chapter of a larger cinematic work, the film invites the viewer to sit with ambiguity rather than seek resolution.
