This short independent film by Dutch director Wouter van Couwelaar shows a certain self-indulgent generation. ‘I want to travel so I borrow money and go – I want sex so I Tinder – I want to feel happy so I do drugs’; the belief that life is changeable within a minute. ‘Happy Tuesday’ is a funny, confronting and staggering portrait of four young women who lose themselves in drugs for different reasons. And they don’t have a problem with that at all.

We would end the painting
Dir. Matthias Fritsche
Germany | 2016 | 5 mins | Language: German with English subs.
The use of music and art belong inseparable together. Taking time for both has been pushed to the background in the fast paced times of the world wide web. Alexander Hanke creates screen prints and gigposters under the pseudonym „Zum Heimathafen“ since many years now. His artwork expresses his feelings to the music and the bands. In old fashioned handwork, the pictures emerge in his living room and later in the workshop, he prints a strictly limited edition of his design. In the prints you can relive moments of a song, a certain part of the lyrics or a special feeling you had during the concert of a band.
