How A Rush of Blood came to Lift-Off
Tristan has been a part of the Lift-Off family for quite some time now. He is a Professional Member of the Network and a prolific, award-winning filmmaker whose accolades include Best Short Live Action Narrative for Among Sweet Flowers and Shades at the Lift-Off Season Awards 2016.
Tristan’s first feature script, his primary aim is to find out how best to see this project materialised. He would be very excited to either direct the film himself, but is equally open to selling A Rush of Blood, keeping creative input as the writer.

Synopsis: Two middle-aged, married, Northern Canadian filmmakers, Brian and Carly, strike gold when their film is accepted into Sundance Film Festival. This could be their last shot at the big time so when a snowstorm grounds all flights two days before the film's premiere, they decide to risk the long drive through perilous weather conditions to Park City, Utah. Things take an unexpected turn when their car breaks down and they are forced hitch-hike the rest of the way with ambitious millennial film critic, Reegan, who has her own ideas about how to get famous. With their marriage already on the rocks will the journey bring Brian and Carly closer together or will Reegan drive a wedge between?
